The CJE presents an exciting series of Listening Sessions this season, featuring Artistic Director Dana Hall in conversation with the season's special guest artists. These programs are the CJE's signature series of informal gatherings in which jazz artists, educators, and/or critics lead an interactive discussion around a particular topic in jazz, which may include playing records, live music demos, and multi-media components.
These sessions, most often held in conjunction with a CJE concert, create unique opportunities to learn more about jazz music and musicians in an intimate, casual setting. Listening Sessions are free and open to the public and attendees are welcome to bring recordings of their own to play and discuss.

*Listening Sessions take place from 12-1:30 pm unless otherwise noted.*
